When the pros go after trophy bass here’s the rig that helps them bring up winners. Slide your bass casting sinker and bead on the line and tie to a barrel swivel. Use an 18" to 30" leader. To get the sinker to clack against the bead, work your bait with a pump-and-retrieve action. To fish deeper, use a heavier sinker and longer leader. Bumping your rig against the bottom with a slow crawl technique also works wonders.
