LIGHT LINE METHOD

For the super fussy feeders or when fishing in clear water, the light line version of a usual slip rig works well. Use 4 to 6 pound test line, tie a hook to the end, add a split shot as a stop and attach a Snap-Loc between your rod and the shot. As a bonus you can slide the shot to change the length of the hook to shot line. This is particularly useful with float baits as the distance controls the bait to bottom interval.
