
For the super fussy feeders or when
fishing in clear water, the light line version of a usual slip
rig works well. Use 4 to 6 pound test line, tie a hook to the
end, add a split shot as a stop and attach a Snap-Loc between
your rod and the shot. As a bonus you can slide the shot to
change the length of the hook to shot line. This is particularly
useful with float baits as the distance controls the bait to
bottom interval.
