Walleye don’t often go deeper than 60 feet. They are most often found in water between 20 feet deep and 60 feet deep.

The photo pictured is of me at Lake Greenwood in South Carolina holding two stripers that I caught schooling on threadfin shad. Me and my fishing partner landed about 25 of these in the first hour. We caught them on topwater Pop-rs and on Swimmin Flukes with a Water Gremlin splitshot to get the bait deeper. It was some of the most exhilarating fishing I have ever had in one hr of fishing.
