Casey caught this dinner plate size black crappie off our dock in Canyon Lake, CA this spring. We think it was about 2 lbs and was his biggest crappie ever. He was using a live shad (he caught himself) on a bobber with a split shot just above the hook. Great fight on ultra light tackle! Casey released it to fight another day.
