Why do bass often strike a lure right after being released and not remember it? Because a bass has two memory centers one for each eye.

Mills Fleet Farm Kids Fishing Day: It’s Coming

June 30, 2011 | Categories: Events,Uncategorized

Mark your calendar for the Mills Fleet Farm Kids Fishing Day. It’s a great day for kids, anglers and gremlins. I can’t wait for it!

Where: Mills Fleet Farm locations throughout Minnesota.

When: July 9, 2011. The event will be open to the public from 11:00 am – 3 pm.

The Mills Fleet Farm Kids Fishing Day is an event to promote fishing appreciation.  Kids can visit various stations that teach basic fishing skills, casting tips, fishing line and knot tying, fish identification, and proper life vest fitting.  The event also features Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers! campaign booths to educate youth and adults about the threats posed by aquatic invasive species and how to prevent their spread.

Interested in staffing a Stop Aquaitic Hitchhikers! booth near you?  Join MN Sea Grant to co-host a “Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers” (SAH!) booth at a Mills Fleet Farm location near you.
