Some fish make sounds by grating their teeth and others, like some catfish, make sounds from their air filled swim bladder.

Parent and Child Ice Fishing

The Gremlin says, “Come one, come all to the Parent and Child Ice Fishing Day at Fort Snelling State Park”. The event is on Saturday, 2/15/2014 from 1-3 PM. Participants will be given hands-on instructions and a chance to try one of Minnesota’s favorite winter recreational pursuits. All equipment and bait will be provided, but urged to dress warmly. We will gather at the visitor center for initial instruction and then head out to Lake Snelling. Pre-registration is required, call the Visitor Center to register, 612-725-2724.
