Sinking Fly

Add a small round split shot to turn a dry fly into a wet fly or just to get that wet fly down to the fish faster. Some place shot at the eye; others space it out six inches. Bouncing a high floating fly like a Elk Hair Caddis along bottom is sometimes effective too.
