People always ask me why I’m dripping wet. You try fighting a muskie at my size.

The Mills Fleet Farm Kids Fishing Day: One Week Away

July 2, 2011 | Categories: Events,Fun Stuff

The Mills Fleet Farm Kids Fishing Day is only a week away. Kids will love the fishing stations and learn all kinds of new skills. I might even stop by and learn a new fishing knot or two.  See you there.  – The Gremlin

Where: Mills Fleet Farm locations throughout Minnesota.

When: July 9, 2011. The event will be open to the public from 11:00 am – 3 pm.

The Mills Fleet Farm Kids Fishing Day is an event to promote fishing appreciation.  Kids can visit various stations that teach basic fishing skills, casting tips, fishing line and knot tying, fish identification, and proper life vest fitting.  The event also features Stop Aquatic Hitchhikers! campaign booths to educate youth and adults about the threats posed by aquatic invasive species and how to prevent their spread.
