Take the Gremlin Fishing Photo Contest Rules

Only Digital Files are Acceptable
They must be jpg or gif files less than 5 Mb in size. (Files 5 Mb or larger will be rejected by e-mail system.) Only photos 72 pixels per inch or higher will be considered. Please submit any given photo only once during 2014.  The photo must contain the Gremlin either from cut-out form or digitally added.

Include Notes About Your Photos
Please include a short note with your photo(s) that provides the date of the photo, the location, the subjects’ names, and the situation.  If you have a fish in there, please let us know the particulars of what you caught (species, length, weight).

Identify Yourself
Include the photographer’s name, age, address, e-mail and telephone number.

Contest Period
Contest begins June 1, 2014. Three winners will be select bi-weekly starting on June 13 and continue until September 5, 2014. Photo submission will be allowed from June 1, 2014 to September 5, 2014.

Contest Eligibility
Open to residents of the United States only. Submission must be made by persons 18 years of age or older.  Kids may enter through their parents. Any amateur photographer, except employees and families of the Water Gremlin Company, may enter a photo. Enter as often as you like. Water Gremlin reserves the right to verify, in its sole judgment, winner eligibility. Water Gremlin employees and families may submit photos for display, but are not qualified for judging or contest prizes. Enter as many photos as often as you like; however, you are only allowed to win once during the year.  No purchase of Water Gremlin products is necessary.

Judging
A panel of judges will select the winning entries each bi-weekly period. By entering you agree to be bound by these official terms and conditions, and that the decision of the judges is final and binding in all respects.  Winners will be notified by e-mail.

Terms and Conditions
By the act of entering photos in this contest, you represent and warrant that (1) you own or otherwise have all necessary rights to the photo(s) you enter and the rights to enter them.  (2) Publication of the photos will not cause injury to any person or entity. Using a name other than your own (or that of your parent or legal guardian) in association with contest entry is prohibited. (3) You grant Water Gremlin the right to use the photo for promotional purposes, including but not limited to putting on the Water Gremlin website and Facebook, as well as more traditional media uses.  Further, you consent to the use of your first name and last initial as well as details provided above to published in conjunction with the photo. Finally, you agree that the photos may be edited for size or content.

Do not provide photographs that:

• Are copyrighted or otherwise proprietary in nature
• Contain vulgar, profane, abusive, racist or distasteful images, or could be perceived as defamatory, threatening, misleading or discriminatory on the grounds of race, religion, national origin, gender, age, marital status, sexual orientation or disability.
• Deliberately or intentionally advertise or promote any goods or services. Violation of these rules will cause photos to be rejected and may be referred to law enforcement authorities.
• Have been altered in any way other than size modification or the inclusion of the Gremlin.

Other
Water Gremlin is not responsible for computer system, hardware, software, or program malfunctions or other errors, failures, or delayed computer transactions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. Furthermore, Water Gremlin is not responsible for: (i) lost, misdirected, misplaced, illegible, unintelligible, incomplete, or late entries or (ii) any act, failure to act, or delay regarding the transmitting or processing of entries. Water Gremlin reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend all or any portion of this contest without notice if factors beyond Water Gremlin control, including technical difficulties, disrupt or corrupt the fair or secure administration or operation of the contest. Void where prohibited. Water Gremlin is entitled to interpret these rules as needed and its decisions are final. Water Gremlin reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that it has reason to believe is not the original work of entrant, or does not otherwise meet the contest rules. If a winner is disqualified or determined to be ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected using the same judging process/criteria described above. Alternate winners are subject to all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.

By participating in the contest, you agree to release and hold harmless Water Gremlin and its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind resulting from your participation in this contest, including infringement of intellectual property rights. Water Gremlin and its employees, officers, affiliates, agents, and advertising and promotional agencies assume no responsibility or liability for any damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind arising in whole or in part from this contest.
